Beautiful church, community and people. Very welcoming and safe. Pasters are very knowledgeable and very understanding.

I think whoever wrote the response has me confused with someone named Jim, I'm not. Then say they can't connect me with a real person so I must have the wrong church. I have the correct church, my name doesn't matter, the damage is done, and I have reached out to your church several times, with no response. I Never said a chior Director stared me down. I don't even see the review you're referring to. You're combining and confusing reviews? What I do see is you denying that anyone in your church could possibly have behaved poorly. Your immediate response is to Invalidate and twist the narrative. I did try to speak with the pastors. You will simply defend the indefensible. The unspeakbly cruel way I was treated, it's traumatizing when one is going through a difficult time. I've seen them treat the homeless poorly, so a previous review is spot on. Some of the most 'un-christlike' people here. What is the point of a church or religion if you don't follow the teachings of the Bible? Just a non-profit with a show? Some people need church to think they're good people. If you hurt, invalidate people, you're not "good" Pastor Veronica seemed kind, non judgemental once. I've called and left messages 2x...she's in a meeting, busy, blah, blah. What she is not professional enough to return a phone call. One minute, she's caring the next indifferent. Doesn't care. No one is that busy. Religion is filled with fakes. This place is no different.

This has been our family's church home for nearly 30 years. We have a warm, inviting, inclusive congregation with an amazing youth program and pastoral leadership. We were married there and we have loved our membership there ever since.🙏❤️

A lovely woman named Rhonda brought to me this past Monday morning a stainless steel travel thermos filled with fresh super-hot coffee and some raw sugar. To be sure, I sipped and sipped as that warm gift on a cold morning braced me to compile my strewn artifacts and flee that scene; as the kind lady had demanded moments earlier. (Spanish Church was fixin' to commence) Whilst swilling said erstwhile brew, visited the Zion Lutheran website. Having now elapsed an significant time between encounter and review, the main thing I recall was the phrase "Love your Enemy" Which then: Caused some internal debate between my self and I regarding the significance of that fly in the ointment ... A downtrodden stranger, Me; bedded on a concrete slab in front of the church ( out of sight to passersby ) Was summarily dismissed and told in no gentle way to leave. I guess I wasn't her enemy. So I gathered my stuff and picked up any bits of trash and cigarette butts, then trudged across to Jax parking lot and had a nice undisturbed rest. Now I cannot speak for Lutherans. I am a Methodist. Can tell you I sure was a little disappointed that the person I met on my first visit to this church treated me with disdain and dismay. This clashes greatly with my indoctrination in the light of and under the tutelage of the Rev. Raymond Scott of Berthoud. He was Awesome. Bet my bottom dollar HE would minister the wounds of body and soul of any stranger before casting them out. Bet anything no stranger ... High-falutin' or homeless ... Was EVER shoo'd away from HIS church. Thanks for the snubbing, Zion. Now I know my worth. Not Recommended. Maramao. Meow
