My family has been attending this church for almost two years now and we couldn't be happier. We love the pastors there. They speak truth. The childcare center for the kids has been amazing as well. We feel very welcome there.

Went from 2012 to 2016. Started great but got ugly after pastor Matt had to leave. Had a few friends there with disabilities that were treated poorly. Should have left this review a long time ago and seeing more recent reviews this church has not changed a bit. If actions speak louder than words then this church's message is they are for the healthy, wealthy, and people with the best appearances. After all those were the people Jesus favored right? SMH.

This is a solid church that leans non-denominational reformed in its theology. You get the opportunity to hear from a rotating staff of pastors and they are all preaching from the Word. The administration of the church seems well run and friendly. Organization and execution of events is good. The standout aspect of this church is the kids program. Not just on Sundays but the summer events and mid-week events are excellent too. All staff is background checked and thoroughly trained. We have 2 kids with special needs and the church is well equipped with one on one helpers and general training. Love Woodmen.

I attended this facility for a year and a half. Only once was I ever greeted or welcomed at the main entrance. In addition they promote their Connection Central where you can find out information about various activities the church has. On three separate occasions I went to Connection Central which had several people in it and stood for approximately 4-5 minutes. Never once was I greeted nor did anyone offer to help me. This is not a friendly, fellowship Church. In addition on my final attendance at this facility the Pastor proclaimed that there were many good churches in Colorado Springs and he knew most of the pastors and would be happy to provide recommendations. When I called for some recommendations the rude lady who answered the phone insisted he never said that and they didn't provide a list. I found this church very unfriendly and unhelpful for Christians. Do not recommend it at all. I gave it a fair chance. Recommend you avoid and find a different church that has the love of Jesus in their congregation and fellowship.

There's something for everyone here--for the elderly generation!!! I've been attending Woodmen Valley Chapel at the HEIGHTS Campus located on the NE corner near the crossroads of Woodmen Road and Marksheffle. It's expanding rapidly and has all the regular Bible classes and programs that any growing family and Seniors would enjoy participating in. I specifically attend their Overcomers Bible Class weekly on Sunday mornings@9A...this is a busy group of folks...definitely never a dull moment. Because the majority are retired, the folks get involved in numerous practical projects to help others in need...moving, food, etc. Whatever is needed at the time. The Bible teaching? PHENOMENAL I might add...the best ever!!! Down to earth... relatable, interesting side-notes, images, etc...to help along the way...oh...and humor, too! [I think the latter is to keep everyone awake! LOL] The folks in the class greatly favor praying for each other and others, too, every week, and often! The men give of their time and energy to help w/tasks needed by others who can't do for themselves! The women do the same, but in a 'genteel" kinda way...providing meals, help younger women as needed, mentoring, etc. whatever and wherever a need arises...they are 'THERE" to help out. Sooo, if you are REALLY older than you think you are, at least come visit... The "Overcomers Bible Class" at Woodmen Valley Chapels' HEIGHTS campus @ the NE corner of Woodmen Road & Marksheffel Road, Colorado Springs...and do it soon! ;)
