Fort Collins is so lucky to have Wild Roots in our community. My kids have participated in their afterschool programming and summer camps. Every adult with whom they’ve interacted has been kind and loving. I have one child who tends to be slow to open up, and she offered Katie a warm hug on the last day of camp, which tells me there’s something magical happening in this space. I’ve heard parents comment on price, but Wild Roots is worth every penny.

We love Wild Roots Studio! Alie and Katie are both so amazing to work with and were super accommodating about some scheduling requests. My girls recently did the "Voicing Change Through Art" camp and had the best experience. It was great to hear them chattering away each evening about the topics that were addressed each day and their ideas for the art they would create the next day. The art barn is a magical place! There's even a creek swing that they got to walk to during the lunch break. We will definitely be back for more camps and classes!

Wild Roots is an amazing place. The nature based, playful style, made my daughter fall in love with art. The community Wild Roots is creating is very special... creative, accepting, diverse, joyful. A truly wonderful space. My daughter said she wants to live there with the chickens and paints, and I can totally see why.

You know your child's camp is excellent when you feel a little pang of jealousy that they get to revel in nature, be creative and embrace play! Wildroots camps are such a beautiful offering for children of all ages, where they can delve into their creative wanderings, enjoy using natural elements, and be free to explore varied media in their creations. The emphasis is on the process and play. My child has enjoyed Wildroots camps since their beginning and embraces these expressive camps. We are so lucky to have Wildroots in Ft Collins!

My daughter loves taking classes with Alie! She is allowed to be creative and express herself without having to conform to an art teacher’s “rules”. Don’t get me wrong. Alie is a strong guide and leader who is extremely knowledgeable. She has students work within the confines of safety without squashing their creative whims.
