Weehawken Dance

At Weehawken we’re taught to love one another we use our team work, talents, and skills to learn together in order to put on these amazing one of a kind performances! Through every dance class I’ve been in here at Weehawken, whether it was in Ridgeway, Ouray, or Montrose was able to shape who I am today. I wouldn’t be able to look back at my childhood without thinking Weehawken. The teachers, friends, and students around us make the experience so much more impactful. Thank you, Weehawken Dance!

Our son (6) and daughter (4) have both loved taking dance classes with Weehawken! Our son is shy and the instructors were wonderful with him and really brought him out of his shell. Our daughter is now on her third semester with Miss LeAnn and she looks forward to class every week! Classes are run professionally, smoothly, and are just fun! We love this team and would recommend their classes for anyone with young dancers, older kids, or grownups looking for a new hobby.

Weehawken Dance has been such an amazing experience. I come to class every day excited to dance and have fun with all of my friends there. The teachers help us to be the best dancers we can be, while creating a fun, non-judge mental, environment while still working hard. It’s taught me so much more than just dance. I now know how to use time management effectively, how to work well with others, and how to put hard work into something to achieve an amazing product.

Out of all the activities that my daughter does, dancing with Weehawken has been her favorite. She looks forward to dancing each week and attending rehearsals. She is learning about the fundamentals of dance and making great friends! When we invite friends to the performances, often their response is "Wow, I had no idea that these performances were so well done." We are thankful for our Weehawken dance family and heartily recommend them to anyone looking for great dance instruction paired with fun!

We absolutely love weehawken dance! The dance classes offered here are phenomenal: jazz, ballet, hip hop, lyrical…just to name a few! My son and daughter have taken all of these and their lives have been greatly enriched due to the magic of Weehawken productions. This is a highly unique dance company and the life lessons of team work, community, and performance are one of a kind. I highly recommend Weehawken to any family looking for a dance home.
