The Town of Granby Recreation Department runs local recreation programs, leagues, and seasonal camps for the Granby community in Grand County, Colorado.
A 10-week summer day camp for kids ages 5-13 (5-year-olds must be in kindergarten), running by the week Monday-Thursday, 8:00am-5:30pm, at the Granby Community Building. Includes Tuesday field trips throughout the summer.
Several Tuesday field trips offered throughout the summer with single-day registration for up to 10 extra children ($45 per trip). Registration is online only at granbyrec.activityreg.com.
Covers Granby Elementary's "connection days," when the school isn't holding regular classes — kids spend the day with arts and crafts, games, free play, and movie time with Granby Rec. Pre-registration is required.
A Granby Rec teen day trip to the Water World water park: the group meets at Granby Elementary at 8am and returns by 6pm. Kids bring a sack lunch, drink, and snack; pre-registration is required by the Thursday before the trip.
A free fly-fishing clinic for ages 10 and up, run by Granby Rec and Colorado Parks & Wildlife, covering basic casting, knots, etiquette and getting started. Bring your own rod or borrow one from CPW.
