The Reading Guru

We have had a wonderful experience over the last 2+ years with Katelan. She has developed a warm and positive relationship with my daughter and my daughter continues to learn so much, allowing her to keep up and excel in school! I can’t say enough good things about working with this company.

We feel so lucky to have found this resource for our son. He has made amazing progress with his reading skills and confidence. The sessions are extremely helpful and his tutor is kind, experienced and engaging. We receive detailed updates after each session and the sessions are easy to schedule. I can’t imagine where we would be with his reading without this vital help.

This is a very well-run local business! Joanna is super responsive, and was able to connect my kiddo with an excellent tutor at a time and place that was convenient. The sessions really helped him, he's starting the new school year with a lot more confidence!

I really cannot say enough about The Reading Guru! Joanna is great and very responsive to any inquiries and questions. My daughter's tutor Jess is a miracle worker! My daughter is severely dyslexic and was way behind with her reading. In a matter of months, my daughter has made so much progress. She loves her sessions and even though they are over Zoom, she loves them and is always engaged for the full session!!! I cannot recommend Joanna and her team enough!

I have only great things to say about The Reading Guru. My son has been working with Jess for over 6 months now, and she is wonderful. She's in tune with what he struggles with and how he learns best. She also makes their sessions fun and engaging! Jess has been an invaluable resource for us as we've navigated through his recent dyslexia diagnosis. I see my son's confidence and skills growing since we started to work with her. We feel so grateful to have found her and can't recommend her enough!!
