The Nature Lab School

We’ve had an amazing experience for two semesters of the elementary enrichment class. My daughter can’t wait to go every week and she loves the outdoor learning environment with friends and animals!

Our kids went to a week of summer camp here. They are not "outdoorsy," but they truly had a fun time. They played, learned, made new friends, and enjoyed being outside.

Amazing environment both physically and emotionally. The kids are taught so much about nature and how to interact with it respectfully. Best enrichment program!

Nature Lab is a highly organized, well run, outdoor homeschool enrichment program. I appreciate their quick communication and user-friendly technology. They offer makeup days so you are paying for a service and not paying for a program that gets canceled. I absolutely love the staff and their philosophy on child development. They are on point as far as integrating chores, responsibilities, and relationships with not only peers and teachers but nurturing their relationship with the world. The kids get real life experiences that expose them to all the things that truly matter. This program is mindful and ambitious when it comes to their intentionality of teaching specific ideas. I want my child to understand nature, kindness, responsibility and this program helps me foster those concepts in the perfect environment and among peers. It is hands-on, it is dirty, and it is the place where childhood is preserved and yet growing meaningfully with every day, experience, conversation, task, and learning opportunity.

My 6 and 7 year old completed one year at The Nature Lab and are signed up for a second year. I was planning on having them try a different enrichment just to explore another style, but they both begged me to enroll in The Nature Lab again. They love caring for the animals, learning practical outdoors skills, and earning badges. I've recommended this program to my entire homeschool group and they all enrolled for this fall!
