Sunshine House

We’ve had our daughter at Sunshine House since she was 13 weeks old and have consistently received wonderful care from the staff. Miss Melissa- now the Assistant Director- was the lead teacher in the nursery and truly set an amazing foundation for our daughter. Our daughter is currently in the Explorers classroom with Miss Emery. There are not enough kinds words in the world to describe her! She is funny, playful, thoughtful, kind, and attentive. Truly, Emery has had the most profound impact on our daughter’s development. Our daughter truly loves hers & feels so confident and safe in her care. We’ve seen her personality just blossom with Emery’s attention and nurturance & are so grateful. Send your child here if you want your child to be loved by their care team!

The Sunshine House staff and teachers on Lake street are kind, caring, and patient. Our daughter enjoys her time there and we receive many updates and photos of her learning and play activities throughout the day. She has been there since she was 8 months old and transitioned recently to the toddler room where she continues to thrive under such gentle care and instruction from her amazing teachers. She has a blast every day with her friends but also participates in many structured activities and even learned to sign before she could speak. We will be enrolling our next kiddo there without hesitation. Emily and Melissa are wonderful and always greet us with stories of June’s day.

Our baby has been here since she was 4 months old and is now in the toddler room. From our first day we have had nothing but great interactions with the staff! All of her teachers have been so helpful and keep us informed of activities all day. Our baby has benefitted so much from being enrolled in this daycare and has shown amazing growth. Emily and Melissa are incredibly easy to talk to and so accommodating day in and out with anything we need. I would highly recommend Sunshine House to any friends, family, or even a stranger who is looking for care for their child.

Sunshine House has been such an amazing find for our family. Our 4 year old son Myles absolutely loves it there. He looks forward to Monday morning every weekend so he can get back to school and play with his friends, and have fun while learning about with all of the fantastic teachers there. The teachers, management, and even Mr. Mike are all so friendly, welcoming, and kind, making Sunshine House a second home for our family. This has been such a positive and fun experience for Myles, Sunshine House has been an awesome experience for Myles and our family.

Last summer, our girls, ages 8 and 5, had never been in daycare, let alone an almost all-day camp. The staff made them feel safe, welcomed, and free to be themselves. Ms. Leah, who helped lead the elementary summer program, was especially wonderful with them. Thank you all for pouring into these kids and creating a space where they can feel safe, get creative, and have fun all at once.
