I enrolled my (at the time) 11 year old in some of the tween/teen classes to explore her creativity and sewing talent. Alicia is an AMAZING teacher. She is very sweet, kind, and really cares about each student. Alicia puts effort into making sure every student is having fun, learning at their own level, and enjoying the class. I have seen my daughter blossom in confidence under her teaching and care, and my daughter's sewing skill has really improved! She really enjoys working on her dress or other projects she is making in class. We've had a really busy fall, but my daughter keeps asking when she can go back to her sewing classes, which we will be signing up for shortly. I HIGHLY recommend the classes at SewItAll!!

Ms Alicia is a wonderful teacher. My daughter went from not knowing anything about sewing to making her own clothes. Ms Alicia is a patient and kind teacher, she is there for all your questions and has so much knowledge to share. Ms Alicia has helped us when we got sick and rescheduled offering different days and times. We took a crochet class which was taught by a different instructor and when we missed the second half she checked in on us and offered to teach us what we missed. Words can not express how kind and generous Ms Alicia has been to my daughter and myself.

Emails below: 5/13 Hi, Can we transfer to the Jun 13 class? My daughter really wants me to attend with her and I have a bridal shower I have to attend this Sat. Best, Jenna Hi, Yes I can do that. No new receipt will be issued so please make note of the change on your calendar. Alicia 5/31 Hi Alicia, I’m now going to be out of town for the June class. Can we move to July? I want to get Clarissa in before fall so she can do some of the tween classes but summer is a scheduling challenge. Best, Jenna I can not just keep moving this. I have a strict policy in place. Can someone else drive your daughter to class. A

I’ve taken Alicia’s “get to know your machine” class and “hip to hem” class and both were excellent. Alicia is an amazing teacher and so incredibly patient. Even in busy classes she makes sure everyone gets the 1:1 attention needed to learn the topic at hand. She is truly an artist and expert in her craft. Regardless of your skill level, there’s something to learn at Sew it all!

I recently enrolled in a class that I had to cancel the morning of. I understood the cancelation policy, but called the owner and asked if I would perhaps be able to reschedule. I was informed just prior to my calling her that my mother in law was just admitted into the ICU and my attention was obviously needed there. As a small business owner myself, I understand policy, but in speaking with the owner there was zero empathy and just a fairly cold attitude. I was reminded of the "strict cancelation policy" to which I was aware of but was hoping for a meeting in the middle which is why I asked to reschedule if possible rather than wanting my money back. She told me to text her later as she was busy at that time. Texted later, from the hospital, and two days later no response. In my text I did let her know I was in fact requesting a refund after speaking with her. **A few other things to note, in my enrollment confirmation email I was told there would be future communication with me regarding the class - there was no communication. Also, the class I was enrolled for didn't even have the correct time. I can only assume it was incorrect as it said the class was in the PM vs AM.** Again, as a small business owner I understand policy but life happens to us all and I could not imagine speaking to a client who's parent was in the ICU the way this was addressed. I would personally have either rescheduled or chalked it up as a loss and claimed it as such in my financials. Anyone could obviously do a basics class online, but I was choosing to support local and small. Lesson learned.
