They have ONE public skate time. That’s it. Everything is open and yet no ice times. I don’t understand why. They even have a membership option and a girl who worked there even told me it isn’t worth it cause there aren’t enough skating times. They don’t plan on adding any more skating times anytime soon. Why? In addition to the ONE public skate time, there is no limit so the rink gets soooo packed and ice gets destroyed in no time. For Olympic City you’d think they’d offer more times and have better organization. Even their rules change and they only enforce rules on certain people. I haven’t found the people to be very friendly either. Such a bummer.

Our visit to Sertich Ice Center was an absolute delight! This facility is truly a gem in Colorado Springs, offering a safe and welcoming environment for a wide range of ice sports and activities. The 35,000 square foot facility is impressive, featuring an NHL regulation-size ice surface and bleacher seating for up to 2,000 patrons. We were immediately struck by the sense of community here. Whether you're a seasoned skater or just learning, Sertich Ice Center provides something for everyone. From Learn to Skate classes to drop-in hockey programs and public skating sessions, there's a program for every interest and skill level. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that everyone had a great time on the ice. It's clear that Sertich Ice Center is more than just a rink—it's a vital part of the community, fostering mental, physical, and social well-being through its diverse offerings. The facility is also conveniently located on the northeast corner of Memorial Park, making it easy to access. Overall, our experience at Sertich Ice Center was fantastic. Whether you're looking to skate for fun, join a hockey game, or celebrate a special occasion, this is the place to be in Colorado Springs. We’ll definitely be coming back!

This ice rink has gone downhill, they offer almost no sticking pucks very few drop-ins. Most of the days are open blank and they still offer zero skates. Why are we funding this with our taxes? It's sad I've been skating there for 15 years. And they offer very little for the public. Many hours of each day are just wide open, no sticking puck, no hockey??? That's what you get with a city run facility. Anyone else would run it to make money.

I gave three stars because the coaches are nice. As far as the lessons...they didn't really help. If your kid is a true beginner and just learning I recommend private lessons. This class will not give them the confidence they need to feel safe, be a strong skater and be able to grow while learning.
