We’ve had such a wonderful experience with Rocky Mountain Theatre for Kids! My twin sons have attended their summer theatre camps for three years in a row, and they’ve loved every minute. They would come home singing and dancing—so joyful and full of energy. This past year, they even auditioned for AAPA and were accepted into the Munchkin Company, which has been an incredible opportunity. RMTK has provided not just training in the performing arts, but also a true sense of community, friendship, and confidence. The teachers are professional artists who offer genuine arts education and mentorship, and it really shows in the kids’ growth and enthusiasm. We’re so grateful for RMTK and highly recommend this organization!

Our daughter has been part of RMTK camps since she was 6. She continues to join the camps each year and has since joined AAPA. We’ve seen her growth as a person and performer. She’s learned focus, discipline, and resilience. She’s learning to walk in other’s shoes as she works to find her character’s voice, improve her movement and confidence with dance, and effectively use her voice. She loves her teachers there and her classmates. It’s her safe space where she feels accepted, welcomed, included, and encouraged.

Our son had a fantastic experience in AAPA this year. I am still in awe over how much the children learned for their play, Matilda, and I am grateful he had the opportunity to learn so many wonderful life skills and acting skills as a part of the AAPA community.

We do a summer camp here for the Avengers in 2025 and our son was invited to try out for the Actors Academy program. So far he’s a few months in and loving every minute. Out of dance martial arts and other classes, this is the one he never wants to miss. They just did the first performance and it’s amazing to see the confidence and motivation it’s given him.
