The Emmental lodge was perfect for our group of 25. Loved how everyone got their own twin bed or floor mattress and we could use a good size kitchen for our breakfast on the main level. Bathrooms were sufficient. Food was also sufficient. Mary was great to work with, and it's convenient that we could pay online. First week of May was perfect weather but we're concerned about our upcoming October 10 retreat with snow. It's quite steep. Elevation sickness was a real thing for a couple of our ladies who ended up needing to go home. Gorgeous location!

old photos, but it's genuinely rare you'll ever get an opportunity to go to a place that you have such a strong bond with. A genuine connection with the place and it's surroundings. I'm seriously going to miss going here every year... for now though, I cherish it. It's not *quite* over.

I used the little A-Fame cabin for a night. It was well stocked with firewood, had alights, a hot place, a heater, a double-sized mattress, microwave, desk, books, cleaning supplies, and a wonderful view. So peaceful, got to watch the sunset and enjoy the snow.
