Just went for the ski area. Parking was kinda chaotic, staff was very friendly. Mountain is really fun, although some of the traverses can be challenging on a snowboard if you don't know where they are.

Just steps away from the main chair lift. A pizza place, lodge restaurant, and mini-mart are all downstairs. Rooms actually feel a little bit fancy. Workout facility is pretty good. Overall a high quality and good value experience. I've stayed here every year for the past four years and will keep coming back.

Mountain is littered with mini trails everywhere to artificially increase their trail numbers, but just make it incredibly confusing to navigate as a non-local. Then with the tickets. I understand that you can't control the weather, but they had the opportunity to do the right thing and didn't. One of our days, the lift closed at 10:00 a.m for wind. We had an hour of skiing and they do not refund anything. Knowing we had rentals, of course they extended our lift ticket so that if we wanted to make up for that day, we would have to pay for another day of rentals. But we were essentially screwed. We did get a couple drink tickets for it...... That only worth on the crappy house box wine, not actual cocktails. All in all, not going back.

Bike park 2026 - They’re only running one lift (a 2 seater) which is shared with the alpine coaster, slide, and the scenic tours. There are no bike racks on this lift so their solution is to use slings to hang your bike off the back of the chairs like they do for the coaster sleds. It felt like slapping a bandaid on their infrastructure problems to just get the park open and get some more money flowing in. The bikes didn’t feel very secure, especially with the wind picking up a little after noon. Trails are overgrown, weeds and grass are growing in the main trail tread too. Super disappointed in opening day and I don’t see myself wanting to visit again in the future after experiencing the train wreck that they’re setting up this season to be.

Didn't stay At the resort but in Durango. Skiing was our purpose and it did not disappoint! Even though low snow, a lot of lifts open and fantastic snow making! Very helpful and friendly staffing. Looking fwd to returning!
