Elegant venue with gorgeous assetic and pristine acoustics. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The venue reached a week beforehand to remind us to pre-pay for the venue parking. In addition, the website listed nearby neighborhood suggestioms on where we might want to eat, near the location. We were able eat nearby at a lovely restaurant and get to the venue in plenty of time for the show. Parking was not exorbitant price, and very easy and convenient, Great location would definitely return for another event.
View on Google ↗We went to the Colorado Cornerstone Choir and Orchestra's prodution of Rob Gardner's Lamb of God, which is an annual Colorado tradition performed every Easter season in this beautiful concert hall. Through singing and narration, the performance tells the story of Christ's last week, which includes his raising of Lazarus from the dead, triumphal entry into Jerusalem, betrayal, suffering for all mankind in the garden of Gethsemane, crucifiction, and resurrection. The oratorio is written in a modern, popular style that is a mix of broadway, classical, and Christian folk. The Cornerstone Choir and Orchestra are volunteers. The quality of the performance is university level -- just shy of professional. The volunteers make the inspirational aspect of the performance exceptional. For example, one of the horn players was very sick, but she persevered through the 80 minute performance, playing with all her heart. Her spirituality brought great passion and touching devotion to the experience. My sister used to be the president of the choir and orchesra. She has sung in it for over two decades. So I am a little biased, but the full house for 3 nights of performances speaks on its own for its quality. This Lamb of God performance is their 11th. It is a great experience and I highly recommend it. BTW: I have an ABD PhD in Music Theory and I'm very picky about musical performances.
View on Google ↗Gorgeous theater! It was easy to get to and the perfect size for a more intimate experience. The seats were easy to find and the staff was really helpful. The pop-up bars on multiple floors was a nice touch.
View on Google ↗Very nice playground. Picnic area only has one table away from the playground. It would be nice if a couple more were added. Large open area for frisbee, and other games. We brought blankets for old school style picnic. Wonderful Mother's Day 💐 ❤️ The kids loves it. Older family members though have a hard time sitting on the ground.
