Neighborhood Art Studio offers art workshops, camps, and birthday parties for children and artists of all ages at its Montbello location in Denver.
A relaxed, hands-on PM session (1-4pm) where kids rotate through three creative stations daily, trying new techniques and materials at their own pace. Drop in or reserve a discounted week; pairs with AM camps for full days.
Campers turn their doll or stuffy into a stage-ready rockstar, crafting matching microphones and glasses, band posters, CD covers, and t-shirts, plus a mini stage with working lights for an epic performance.
Tweens and teens learn the tools and mindset of a street artist: tagging their name, designing a graffiti font, making custom stencils, and hydrodipping, culminating in a large graffiti-style canvas to take home.
Young artists sculpt their own pirate treasure - coins, jewelry, gold bars, and gems - using mixed-media techniques, then decorate a treasure box and add corals and seashells for a deep-sea scene.
Kids build large-scale styrofoam sculptures of wild animals, painting them in bold, unexpected colors with glow-in-the-dark elements. The week ends with a mini art show under black lights.
Campers design and build their own mini amusement park - Ferris wheels, rides, treat stands - using drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed-media construction to bring their ideas to life.
Kids become Pokemon trainers with a DIY training kit, crafting a briefcase, hat, Poke Balls, Poke cards, and creatures, and earning a trainer certificate. A sold-out 2025 favorite.
Campers design and build their own paper-mache food truck with a custom menu, sculpting realistic treats from polymer clay and mixed media, plus marketing signs and a seating area with peg-people customers.
Artists build a detailed 3D nighttime camping scene with natural textures and tiny lights, adding a new element each day - tents, trees, a campfire, a starry sky - then showcase it in a small art exhibit.
Young artists design an imaginary clubhouse floating in the clouds, crafting DIY mini houses, moon and star accessories, fluffy cloud volume, and woven-in fairy lights for a glowing 3D installation.

From after school care, no school day camps, summer camps, Parents Night Out, and now most recently to the most epic glow party for my son’s 7th birthday - you all have brought so much joy, creativity and fun to my kids’ lives and made my life easier as a mom knowing they’re always safe and having fun when they’re with you. Adriana and staff went above and beyond to make this day so special for our daughter and easy for us parents. They were so kind, thoughtful, creative, considerate, extremely helpful, and talented. The studio is adorable, clean, well thought out, and so fun.
View on Google ↗My toddler comes for their tiny artist classes and he loves it. They have different stations for sensory play and messy art. We do an art project in the class every week and get to take it home. Cassie, the art director is incredibly patient and nice to all the kids. We signed up for a semester and my baby can’t wait to go every week.
