Had a great experience here when visiting from out of town. Brandon at the front desk was super cool and even loaned me his harness since the rentals are basically uncomfortable seat belts. The routes are great, the crowd is great, and the gym is well maintained. They have lead ropes they'll loan you, which was unexpected and awesome. I'll definitely return any time I'm in Boulder and can find a partner!

Fun people. They have a bouldering area, gender neutral toilets, a workout area with weights and treadmill, climbing accessories and shoes to sell. You have to demonstrate your belaying for top rope and your lead climbing skills to be allowed to climb there.

I’ve been going to both Denver and Boulder movements since they each opened. I love the amount of classes they have aside from climbing, as well as all the stand fitness equipment you might need. The staff is usually friendly and helpful. Everything is pretty clean, besides the occasional blood splatter up high on a wall. 😂 The routes are usually pretty good too and they change them out pretty frequently. My only complaint is the price, but I understand supply and demand. I wish it was a little more affordable.

There’s so much I love about this gym. Like most of the other Movement locations, the setting is absolutely fantastic. The thing that sets this location apart from the other Movements is the people. Everyone here is typically very respectful, and it’s much less of a “show” here vs. Movement Baker. The lead wall is excellent. This is one of my favorite gyms in the US.

The lead & t.r. area is 5 star. Awesome setting and reset often enough. Bouldering area is small and awkward, I would go elsewhere if I bouldered often. Yoga instructors are great, but they pack way too many people into the tiny studio. Early morning classes are good but the evenings are incredibly cramped. Fitness equipment is lacking. There's probably enough cardio equipment, and a couple sets of dumbbells but everything else is pretty limited. If you prioritize strength training to any degree I'd go elsewhere or have another gym membership. The facility itself is generally clean. Staff members are all great; super friendly and helpful.
