Ok so my kids life was threatened by another student which this student’s mom worked at the school so after this kid to a gun to the school and showed it to a couple of students they informed my child at which point they were all sick to their stomach and my children called to go pick them up because it’s obviously a very scary situation i contented the school they search the kid and that was it nothing else happened. I don’t if its cause him mom worked there but I though their is a no tolerance policy for threatening another child’s life as well as bullying, but apparently I guess it doesn’t apply to all students mind you my kid has to see this kid every day this year and they are crying about him having his cell phone on him. Well, I’m sorry that you feel as a distraction, however I will not give up the right for him to call me and or emergency services if needed as I know that the phone will Change the violence with guns however it does give My child, a lifeline to call if an emergency however, there’s one teacher this year that is so high and mighty about cell phones that she accuse My child is having a phone yesterday when I had the phone at home. He still got in school detention so there’s a big issue here they called a liar and it wasn’t just a teacher, but it was the teacher and the dean that called my child a liar never notified me that my child was put in in school detention for that hour. I sent them a message two weeks ago still haven’t heard anything back so I guess my child’s safety is not a concern and I have a very serious problem with this

Unfortunately, even though Jeffco's CMAS scores for language arts, math, and science are better than state averages, they are still abysmal for the 2024-2025 school year: *For ELA, only 52.5% met or exceeded the standard across all grades *For math, only 42.8% met or exceeded the standard across all grades *For science, for 5th grade only 47.7% met or exceeded the standard, declining to 34.7% in 11th grade This means that Jeffco is FAILING to prepare a huge percentage of students for either college or the work force. This is completely unacceptable and points towards systemic incompetence and gross negligence by the Jeffco School District administration and its teaching staff.

I would never send a child to any school within Jefferson County Public Schools. A Parent, the number one job is to love, guide, and protect your child — and you'd expect the school system to respect that. Unfortunately, Jeffco Schools has shown a disturbing willingness to undermine that sacred role. There are documented cases of this district encouraging social gender transitions behind parents' backs, referring children to outside therapists, and deliberately keeping families in the dark about major decisions that impact their child's identity and emotional well-being. This is not education — this is indoctrination. These are children in their most sensitive and formative years, and instead of focusing on academics, this district is pushing confusing and controversial social ideologies without parental consent.

5/12/25 my kids have been in the school district throughout their course of school. Not all bad not all good. Hopefully, want to see the tides change. Its unfortunately hard to do because it takes community and I feel Jeffco is lacking in community collective thinking. Working families and community workers or citizen workers should not be pointed against each other. Good sportsmanship is needed to cultivate a safe, thriving community/accountability and awareness to other people situations. I continuously track all my interactions with Schools as they are trending and targeting. 1/2024Update this was a year ago when I made this review : Now finding out about the chief director of Jeffco Public Schools is sickening and horrifying the amount of minimal contact and communicative skills these school have is blatantly, scary, and concerning. 1/2024Currently in process of filing a complaint cannot speak for the county as a whole, but this particular school is in this district and I hope this does not apply to the district maybe just a school. Will update further, if corrective action was took.

I have an autistic son who from 5 to 6.5 studied at Wilmore Davis elementary. My son was a happy and good boy before he attended this school He is ASD and studied an an IEP program Its a long story that I don't have enough writing space to describe but to cut a long story short he was coming back from this school angry, Full of hate saying horrible things that included saying he wants to explode the school and kill and cussing , Hitting and none stop tantrums. We didn't doubt the school until he went on summer break and suddenly the behavior improved significantly. Which meant the problem was at school and not at home Ironically the ASD teacher was being our best friend sending messages about how great our son is sometimes 8pm and also came to visit us several times , That was nice but seemed odd that a teacher can get so close like that. To cut a very detailed story short he confessed to us after 5 months that it was this teacher who was manipulating him physically and emotionally taking advantage of his Autism I wont get into details but he started having habits not appropriate for his age which he revealed he learned with her She has done a great deal of psychological Damage to his day to day . Now starts the real issue: The school didn't believe him and worse nobody in the district believed him . We recorded him stating what happened and the district Just moved him to another school causing him to loose 3 months of school because there was no availability in other schools while my wife had to loose work and and him not studying while nothing was investigated or done and the teacher continued to work normally Only after we took action with the CDE and wrote emails none stop bagging for help did the district assign a psychologist to speak with him , He by the way told her everything as well After this the district said they will approve the continuation of this mental help for him but have stopped it after 2 sessions and stopped answering our Emails and phone calls We were forced to Get an Attorney and law enforcement to get things moving Parents: I learned something : Don't fall for the smiling faces of the staff when you put your kid at school the first day, Don't assume and take for granted that your sons or daughters are well taken care of school , Observe them and ask them about their day and about their teachers because you can't always tell what's going on with them and Know this: If you do have an issue with the school you will be facing a wall of protection that is protecting the school staff from you . the district will also not listen to you and you will have to fight very hard to get some answers Thank you!
