I booked J & J Hip Hop Dance Company to perform at my AGCRA 70s/80s Disco Ball, and they were absolutely incredible! They completely understood the vibe and delivered beyond expectations. The choreography was sharp, the outfits were fantastic, and their energy was unmatched from start to finish. What really stood out was how they engaged with the crowd—they even taught us a dance routine, which made the experience even more fun and interactive. Everything about their performance was professional and entertaining. I will definitely be booking them again for future events. Highly recommend—hands down my number one choice!

Update: If you have a kid that really wants to do hip hop dance getting through the beginner class is challenging but once you advance it's very very fun. My daughter was elated after her first class in the slightly more advanced class. The reason the beginner class is more challenging is because the age range is just too great for the vastly varying physical abilities. The 6 year olds should definitely be grouped in the 3-5 range group instead of up to 12 years old to really develop their basic coordination. :) My daughter has attended 2 classes so far for beginner hip hop. The studio is really beautiful and artistically done. You can tell a lot of care goes into keeping the place clean and it's also very cozy for waiting parents. They have a snack/toy room with items for purchase and as incentives for good behavior. My daughter enjoys her teacher so far. They offer classes for kids (as young as 6) and adults including Zumba. 6 yo seems to be a bit young for some of the kids who don't seem like they're quite ready to follow instruction and that hinders the older kids a bit but this is certainly not the studios fault. I do think it would be a great idea to package classes together...for example have a Zumba class at the same time as hip hop kids class so parents can do a class for themselves and the tuition could double. I've been offered coffee and hot chocolate while my daughter was dancing and those little details go a long way!

I contacted Joseph Cantu, the owner of J&J Hip Hop Dance Company, to arrange a private hip-hop class for my daughter's bachelorette party, featuring ten girls who all have a dance background. Instructors Romeo and JJ crafted an exciting and engaging dance routine that pushed the girls to challenge themselves while having a blast. Their expertise in teaching technique and style truly made the experience memorable. Every girl left the class raving about how much fun they had!

My son loved the summer dance camp he had attended at J & J Hip Hop years ago and just recently celebrated his 15th birthday at the studio. He and his friends danced for hours and learned lyrical moves and a choreographed routine from Antonio and Joseph...it was his best party ever! My son now wants to take classes.
