So much fun! To break up a cold vaca hit the rec center. It has two heated pools, water slides, etc. Also has a fun climbing wall.
View on Google ↗Always a wonderful experience whenever my daughter and I go here. We went climbing here recently and Skylar was the sweetest. Very helpful with everything and seemed to really know her stuff. Will be coming here everytime we come to town.
View on Google ↗This really is a great facility, they have reasonably priced yearly passes and bought one for my wife and I under the couples selection for just over $230. They also have a family of 4 pass as well that's only a few bucks more (i think $250). They have a lot to offer from a climbing wall, several hoop basketball court (which they have pickle ball and other events that go on), a gymnastics area where they actually let you or your kids go into, pool table, ping pong, air-hockey table, foosball table, a pool for kids and a 6 lane lap pool. I mostly got it for the lap pool as I'm a triathlete, and the lap pool is one of the better one's I've had the privilege of swimming in. The water is perfect temperature and not over chlorinated or salty from people not showering (which they do enforce a must shower policy before entry...thankfully) Only thing they don't have is a gym with weights which isn't a big deal, there are plenty of small gyms around if you want to lift weights that aren't expensive to use.
View on Google ↗My husband were staying in the Almont area, near Gunnison, camping for a week. For just a few dollars, you can use their facilities at the recreation center. It was an excellent place to take a hot shower, after a day's outdoor activities. The whole facility is really nice, looks new, clean, friendly staff, etc.
View on Google ↗While camping in Almont, got a family deal for $155 for 3 months of showers. Nice facility, clean with friendly staff.
