Groundworks Art Lab

I love Groundworks Art. I’ve taken several classes here—wheel throwing, hand-building with clay, printmaking, mosaics —and each one has been such a joy. The environment is not only super creative and inspiring, but also so clean, well-organized, and welcoming. What stands out most to me is how kind and supportive everyone is—from the instructors to the staff and fellow students. It’s such a special place to explore your creative side, especially in ceramics. I’ve learned so much and had so much fun in every class I’ve taken. I also had to cancel one of my classes last-minute due to the loss of my beloved dog, and the way the Groundworks team handled it—with such understanding and compassion—meant more than I can express. It made a hard moment feel a little lighter, and I’ll never forget that. If you’re thinking about taking a class here, do it. You’ll find not just amazing instruction, but a community that truly cares. I can’t recommend Groundworks enough.

Took a metal date night class. Within 15 minutes we were hammering hot metal on the anvil, and I found a craft that I loved instantly. Keegan was experienced and a great teacher and I never felt unsafe even around five other complete amateurs. I will definitely be coming back for the month long metalworking courses and I'm encouraging all my friends to try the date nights.

I have been a ceramics student here for several months and I absolutely love this studio! The staff is amazing and the facility is always clean and ready for fellow creators. Wether you have never created art before, or you are a seasoned pro, I think there is a welcoming space for you here.

Excellent place to learn a new skill that involves metal, clay, glass, and of course, wood. Would 100 % recommend this location. Teachers are very skilled, and the equipment is top notch. Do not miss out and schedule a class.

Groundwork’s is amazing and has become an essential part of our lives. This session we took the Ancient Pottery class taught by John. It was absolutely fantastic. He is a true master and everything about the class was inspired. If it is offered again, don’t miss it.
