We came here because I was in a bad domestic violence marriage with a mental, emotional, and covert narcissist. He was also then, and continues now, to abuse my children with parental alienation, love bombing, and abuse. A CFI saw though my ex husband and said he needed intense counseling to have any custody. We came here and he used his manipulation tactics and coached my daughter's to make him look like the victim. Kragt and Garren DID NOT see this as trained counselors. Instead, they took his tactics and called CPS against me. This is with an active DV case ongoing AND previous DV charges on him. My daughter told me (her father told her what to say and it was these counselors that he persuaded to call CPS.) She has been at the hands of his abuse for 3 years now and had to get away. This is extremely concerning. Now two families, myself and daughters are living with the after math of him being able to sway counselors and continue his parental alienation against anyone associated with mother. His path of destruction and ability to charm, manipulate, and abuse people made trained counselors assist in allowing it to continue. They had the CFI report, knew his charges, and should have known he was manipulating/coaching his kids. If you are in highly abusive/narcissistic/parental alienation situation please go to counselors that have proper training and years of being able to recognize covert abuse. These counselors can't begin to imagine what they have played a role in. Another tactic and stepping stone. Kragt and Garren need better training so they can recognize when a charming manipulator is using them and coaching his kids to further his own agenda. Now my daughter is going through the exact abuse he put me through and will need extensive counseling to help her work through it. She feels bad that she was younger and did not know better. She sees now what he does to people for his own image. I am thankful she is away from him but saddened that these counselors played a role in what she is now dealing with.

My wife and I learned so much from our counselor Barb! Now we have tools and guidelines to help resolve our disagreements in a productive manner. Barb is professional and caring - I cannot overstate what a difference she made for us!
