This church GETS IT! The leadership promotes women in ministry. Their children’s program is incredible and their music department provides so many opportunities. They have a robust network of young families, a thriving population of people of every age and exciting opportunities to engage WITH SUPPORT! Expect everything you love about church at service and grow in God with people who genuinely care and take the time to get to know you and your family. Understanding, loving, inclusive and accepting they LIVE GODS word of love. This church has the word worth the drive!

The older woman leading the line of cars at the Tuesday food distribution is very unempathetic and arrogant. I have no complaints about the other people because they're all very friendly. She always seems angry about giving out food boxes to people in need. I hope she changes her attitude. Helping comes from the heart, not with arrogance.

First Pres is a wonderful church for youth ministry and beyond. The directors and volunteers leaders are so dedicated to our young people. They've been so instrumental in walking with my kids through tough times in middle and high school. They really know how to demonstrate Jesus' love for your kids. The contemporary worship service is so welcoming. No pretenses, no frills, no pomp and circumstance. Just come as you are and be filled. Love this place!

First Pres has been a mainstay of conservative, yet welcoming, compassionate Christ-centered faith in Boulder for more than 140 years. For those of us who live in the Boulder area, this church provides more than just a building and worship services - it is the people and community that enables significant support and engagement with the University, Boulder Public Schools, our county's homeless, tremendous youth programs, and those seeking support and caring across any demographic lines. No church is perfect, just like the people in it, but First Pres seeks to bring the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ to each other, to Boulder and to the World. Anyone is welcome to be a part of both the Sunday worship services as well as the hundreds of groups and services and events going on in the church and in the community each week. Check it out!

I came to First Pres with many doubts and questions and found a church that made me feel at home. The programs for kids and teenagers are amazing. It's nice to have the choice of a worship service service with either traditional or contemporary music. Very warm and welcoming place!
