Go West is unlike any other camp I have come into contact with. They provide an unparalleled experience to campers that not only provides them with fun, but also builds outdoor skills, music skills, social skills, life skills, and more. Andrew and Arianne (the owners) obviously put their hearts and souls into what they do and it truly shows. They hire caring and compassionate staff, and provide intensive training to them so that they are knowledgeable, safe and working to provide the campers with the best experience possible. The camp provides high quality and well thought out meals and provides campers with high end and quality outdoor gear and materials for activities. The three week sessions allow for campers to work on skills and really progress and grow in a way that is not possible with a shorter camp experience. The activities are varied and appeal to a wide range of people and expose campers to new experiences, stretching and building them along the way. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to Go West and feel they truly are an unmatched option for a summer camp experience.

Our kids have been going to this camp at Eagleview for a few years now and they truly enjoy it. Each week they send out an itinerary which usually includes some combo of: biking, hiking, rock climbing, paddleboarding, archery, farm/garden, and arts/crafts. The staff vary a bit from year to year, but overall they've been great. I love that this camp is mostly outside and away from electronics. My kids look forward to this camp every summer now.

I had three kid (6, 8 and 11) at the first session of Go West Camps during the summer of 2016. Each child was in a different age group, thus a different schedule for the day. The activities were organized and well-suited to the age of each child. For example, one day my 11 year old did a ropes course with her group. They had to work together and support each other to overcome a particular climbing challenge. While, my eight year old didn’t do the ropes course, but he did lots of climbing and had fun doing it. Each child was excited to tell me what they had done that day, sharing the successes and the challenges. As a parent of three, I appreciate *NOT* having to drag equipment for all kids to camp each day. Go West provides bikes and paddle boards and any necessary safety equipment. You don’t have to remember to bring any equipment or helmets ever! The daily schedule of this camp is convenient for working parents. Often other camps end at 3 (or earlier), aftercare is an additional fee or you need to arrange for alternative care outside of camp. I appreciate the flexible drop off and pick up hour at the beginning and end of each day. While I can ramble on about why *I* liked camp, the true test was the reaction of the kids. They loved it. They were able to try activities we would never do as a family (because we don’t have the equipment). Activities like paddle boarding and rock climbing. If ever I arrived for pick up early, they complained loudly! They wanted every last second to play with their new friends, whether in the “Maker’s Space” (choose-your-own craft area), in the Gaga Ball pit or playing a board game. It was hard to drag them away. And that is the measure of a good camp. Thank you Andrew and Arianne for helping my kids have a great time! They are looking forward to this summer!

I can't say enough good things about this camp! My kids have attended one session for each of the past 3 summers. The camp staff are kind, caring and are true experts at what they do. The thing I appreciate most about Go West is variety of experiences that it has provided for my kids which I would honestly never take the initiative to give them on my own. I love that my kids have done rock climbing and stand up paddle boarding! All of the activity and time outdoors is SO good for them. They even helped my youngest over the hurdle to finally learning how to bike on two wheels. With some kids, some things are just better received from another adult and a little positive peer pressure than from Mom and Dad. I'll never forget when my son came home from camp and told me he LOVED kale salad!! Again, so many great experiences! We'll be back!

Our son enjoyed the camp so much that he asked to go to another session. They have a lot of different activities such as biking, mountain climbing, cooking, gardening, arts, and a lot more. Kids spend a lot of time outside and get all safety gear from the camp. A lot of families are repeat customers. Also reasonably priced in comparison to other camps in Colorado Springs. We are very happy with Go West camp and will be back next year to make more friends!
