★★★★★This was such a beautiful place to play and each hole was unique. The driving range had a few spots reserved for those with tee times that were already set up with balls. The golf carts had a club and ball scrub attached. The layout was easy to navigate and the course was in great shape when we visited in mid May. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Pace of play was solid & the food at the restaurant was delicious after. Steve the bartender took great care of us while visiting. I couldn’t ask for a better way to end the week highly recommend.

★★★★★As someone who plays in a women's league here, I can honestly say Fossil Trace is one of my favorite courses. The course is absolutely beautiful, the mountain views are incredible, and every round feels like a special experience. The greens are always in fantastic shape and it's obvious the staff takes a lot of pride in keeping the course so well maintained. The iconic par 3 with the old mining equipment built into the rocks is such a fun and memorable hole. It never gets old and it's one of those holes everyone talks about after the round. I also have to give a huge shout out to Matt, who runs the women's league. He does an amazing job keeping everything organized, welcoming, and fun. Whether you're a newer golfer or have been playing for years, he creates an environment where everyone feels included and enjoys coming back each week. If you're looking for a course that's both challenging and incredibly scenic with a great community of golfers, Fossil Trace is hard to beat. I always look forward to league nights and can't recommend this course enough.

★★★★★One of my favorite places to golf in Colorado. Amazing views, challenging holes, great location, and always a great time. All the staff working there are friendly and extremely helpful. I have golfed at this course maybe a handful of times but I will always be back. It is a must go to golf course if your are in Colorado.
