Elite Dance Academy

I started bringing my daughter to Elite in 2017 when she was 3 years old. She loved ballet & tap - the music, the outfits, the shoes, and the teachers. At the time, my other daughter who was 11, had been in gymnastics for many years. The comparison to the two studios was stark. The gymnastics studio encouraged excellence & competition, but not community, kindness, communication & respect. They didn't treat each child individually, they were more concerned about winning than building whole & happy kids. So i noticed the difference right away. The Elite staff, by contrast, was warm, kind, patient and of course expected the best from their students and taught responsibility and commitment, but in such a positive way, understanding the developmental stages and capabilities of each age. They always made a point of rewarding good behavior and redirecting when needed. They were even available for social emotional support when needed. Fast forward to almost 9 years at this studio and I can still say that we love Elite!!! My daughter is now 12 years old and her dance and life education at Elite has been stellar across the board. She even tried out for CORE 3 years in a row and just finally made it on the team. Which i know has taught my daughter to persevere, continue to work hard, self advocate, and breathe into the times when constructive criticism comes her way that she must then act on. Elite is helping with skills that will serve her for the rest of her life. Elite Dance is her home away from home. She happily goes to the studio hours and hours each week, working on her technique & choreography, preparing for performances, doing her homework, hanging with her friends, and helping out as class assistant 2 classes a week. My daughter is happy, healthy, and thriving!

My daughter has really been enjoying her first dance classes at Elite Dance Academy. They always make her feel welcome and excited to see her. She is currently enrolled in Hip Hop and Poms and has been having a great time getting to know the staff and other students. The team communicates well and we would recommend if you are looking for a new studio that your child can grow into with a variety of different classes offered.

Elite Dance Academy has been amazing! Our daughter had just one week to prepare for her high school dance team tryouts, and the staff immediately stepped in with focused, personalized support. Clare arranged daily lessons with the right instructors, kept us informed every step of the way, and made the whole process feel seamless. Their communication, encouragement, and genuine care for dancers of all abilities have truly stood out. We feel so fortunate to have found this studio and would recommend Elite without hesitation!

We love Elite! My 3 year old is obsessed with dance class. It’s the highlight of her week! They made a scary transition for a little one so fun and inviting. The whole staff is so kind and welcoming and she raves about her teacher Ms. Mary all the time. I’m so excited to watch her excel, I can tell we’re going to be committed here for the long haul :)

I have a 2 and 3 year old who attend the enchanted beginnings class with Ms. Mari and Ms. Palmer. And I can’t tell you how much we’re enjoying our experience. The teachers are so kind and accommodating. My small girls also get to interact with the older dancers from time to time and they are so sweet and you can tell how special this makes my girls feel. Let alone how cute the recitals are ! 10:10 experience !
