Elevation Dance Studio

Both of my daughters have been dancing at elevation for 4+ years now - they each have found a love for dancing that is championed by their instructors in every genre of dance. From their first class, they were welcomed into an encouraging and friendly environment by the staff and students alike. As a parent, I truly appreciate the organization of the studio and the connection / positive role model aspect that the instructors play in my daughters' lives. Our girls have been part of Elevation for 12 years. What started out as "something fun to do for the little ones on a winter's afternoon" became an integral part of their life and growth in our community. Thanks to the skills and tenacity (never stop trying!) learned at Elevation, my older daughter who is now in University is still taking dance classes for fun and fitness. My younger daughter (still in high school) LIVES for her afternoons at Elevation. Above all, our girls have developed an absolute LOVE of dance, and not just one style of dance but pretty much all of them - from classical ballet to hiphop. We have always had great experiences with teachers and have really appreciated their professionalism, kindness and support in helping our girls grow. Elevation is not just a dance studio, it's a family.

My daughter has been dancing at Elevation for four years now and it has truly become a second home for her. The staff and dancers have welcomed her with open arms and made her feel like part of the family. The training she receives is exceptional, challenging and focused on helping her grow both technically and as an artist. From ballet and jazz to hip hop and contemporary- the choreography is always exciting. Being a part of Elevation’s events and competitions has helped her grow in confidence like nothing else could. She wants to get to the studio early, stay late and leaves every class with a huge smile on her face! My daughter started dancing at Elevation when she was 3 and the past 9 years have been such a positive and wonderful experience for her. The teachers are outstanding, the staff are so organized, and it's a wonderful community of kids (and parents!!) supporting each other. Highly recommend - whether your child wants to just take one class or multiple classes, they have really great options. Highly recommend!

Elevation deserves more than 5 stars! In both dance instruction and culture, they exceed expectations! The instructors at Elevation are amazing dancers who make learning to dance fun, even though the kids are learning a lot and working hard at it. The results are phenomenal - the Elevation dancers are fantastic!! Equally important is the culture at the studio, and Elevation has a culture I am proud for my son to be a part of. Elevation is serious about teaching the kids more than just dancing - they want them to be good people too. The instructors lead by example - they create an enthusiastic, positive and respectful environment where they encourage the kids to believe in themselves and support each other - this is part of what makes Elevation so special, and it shows in the behavior of the dancers. There are really amazing dancers at Elevation, but they are not full of themselves - they encourage and support the other dancers. The parents are the same way - after performances you will see parents complimenting many dancers - not just their own. I love that my son dances at Elevation, and am so grateful that he is part of an organization that shows kids how to be good people, as well as good dancers.
