Easterseals Colorado operates Rocky Mountain Village Camp in Empire, a mountain camp providing respite, recreation, and overnight/day camp programs for children and adults with disabilities.
A week-long session of Easterseals' fully accessible Rocky Mountain Village Camp for children ages 6-14 with physical and/or developmental disabilities. Campers swim, fish, zip-line, hike, do arts & crafts, sports and outdoor cooking.
A week-long Rocky Mountain Village session for teens/young adults ages 15-21 with physical and/or developmental disabilities. This fully accessible camp offers swimming, fishing, zip-lining, hiking, arts & crafts, sports, music and outdoor cooking.

Hidden gem for disc golf. Very challenging course. Extremely scenic and beautiful especially during fall when the leaves change. Baskets are kind of bad, and tee pads are short or dirt. Hosts of property are very nice.

View on Google ↗We rented out the camp for our wedding and it was perfect. Staff set everything up and went above and beyond. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue.

The care that this staff exerts to ensure that exceptional children and adults get to experience nature and have a solid camp experience parallels nothing I have ever seen. If you get a chance to visit see if you can meet Tom and Houston (the Therapy dog). They are among many bright souls up there who make this world a better place.
