Obsessed with the Zoo!!! Everyone who works and volunteers here is so kind, personable and knowledgeable. they made the entire experience a lot of fun. i loved that they were so open to answering questions and giving us little fun facts about the animals we were seeing! excited to come back and see all the new installations that are in progress. they have plenty of food and drinks for sale across the zoo, but they allow food and drinks in which is always nice. plenty of area to sit and enjoy as well. they even serve alcohol for the adults lol!

6/12/2026 Friday, my Company Crusoe Industries paid for employee tickets which was nice of them. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves as it was in the 90s. We haven't been to the zoo in awhile since construction of areas. We enjoyed the long walks for 3 hours, however it may be helpful to place stenciled foot prints in a few different colors for location and shortcuts to animal areas. It was amazing and so incredible to see our beautiful animals as we all have our favorites. Maybe add several water misters and shaded areas for humans and all animals. There were a few drink areas closed w/o notice. One young guy had the sm garage door to the food stand almost closed and said, he couldn't make any Lemonade- maybe his job. This zoo absolutely knocks my local zoo out of the park! 🦁🐒 One of the best parts is that parking is FREE, and there’s a parking garage, so your car doesn’t get unbearably hot while you’re enjoying your visit. Stroller and electric wheelchair rentals are very affordable here. We got a double stroller for $13. They also have discounted admission options for EBT recipients. If you book about a week in advance, you can get admission for around $3–$4/person (I can’t remember the exact amount). This is honestly one of the best zoos I’ve ever visited. My favorite animals were the Emperor Tamarins with mustaches and beards that could put most grown men to shame! 🤣🤣🤣 The animals all appeared to be very well cared for, and there were multiple zookeepers at each exhibit to help ensure the animals’ safety and answer visitors’ questions. There are also numerous shows and presentations throughout the day, which really makes the visit feel worthwhile. Overall, this was an amazing experience, and I would absolutely recommend it! 🐾

Very nice zoo. Lots of large trees and landscaping throughout for some needed shade. Enclosures had ample room and enrichment. The elephant area is really cool with the bridge for them to go over the walkway. The bird area you can walk in was cool, some very pretty unique birds who may or may not come gently nibble your legs. We loved the reptile/fish area. The tropical plants and free roam sloth were very cool. Nice zoo!

The Denver Zoo is a spectacular public Zoo to attend with family/friends since they have great animal displays (Ex: Stingrays, Giraffe, Elephants, etc.) that cater to kids petting the animals in their habitat. Also, the Zoo Food is high quality with a high caliber Zoo staff that addresses the customer needs. If you are in Denver I highly advise going to the Denver Zoo with your family/friends!
