I do not live in Denver, but I am so glad I found this place for my Jr High kid. The camp was well run and have wonderful instructors. The wrap up, reading time (show case for family members) were so much fun. There is a specific procedure for kids check in & out, secure for the kiddos. The new building is very modern and decorated beautifully. There are parking, but some days are easier to find than others. Yet, if you have older kids, drop off is easy to do.

They cancel classes last minute. This has happened to me twice and I was super excited for both of them. The good news is that you can do this kind of thing on YouTube and because of their flakie-ness and non commitment to meeting their schedule this is the route I'm going to go.

This place is the real deal. Every instructor is a genuinely successful author and an excellent teacher. I have nothing but glowing reviews for the six instructors I’ve had, and I rarely say that about any class. Great for beginner hobbyists like me, as well as experienced writers on the verge of breaking through.

I took a 1 day, 6 hour short story writing class with Sarah Elizabeth Schantz. To preface, I have no desire or intention of becoming a professional writer. I took this course out of curiosity, and I am glad I did. When I first walked in Sarah was panicking about not knowing what room the class was in and if there were enough seats available for everyone. I thought this may be a bad omen but soon realized it is because she is incredibly thoughtful and wants her students to have the best experience possible. Sarah knows exactly what she is talking about when it comes to writing, she meticulously planned the curriculum, and she loves teaching. I got way more out of this than I could imagine. The 10 sentence life story exercise alone was worth taking the course. We are always counting down to something. I’m counting down to the next in-person class Sarah hosts. Thank you, Sarah.
