Beautiful Church, beautiful people, beautiful bookstore and icons!! Located in a more laidback part of the Denver area, easy to access, and plenty of parking. God bless
View on Google ↗My heart rejoices going to the Greek Orthodox Church! I journeyed for a long time to find a Church like this and I will say so far there has been no disappointments. The Greek Orthodox Church has absolutely been a fulfillment of everything I've hoped for. The reverence and worship they have for Jesus goes above and beyond any other Church I've been to in Denver, and I've been to many of them. They really do put Jesus and his message first and foremost, and after nearly 7 months of going to the Assumption of the Theotokos Cathedral, I will say this- the awe and stirring of the soul that I felt when I first walked in still burns bright. Every time I walk inside, its an experience that never gets old. I appreciate the Greek community for preserving and holding onto their traditions and for providing the Greek Orthodox Church for me to go to. Seriously, if anyone from the Greek community reads this, my gratitude knows no bounds. Thanks for everything you did. Ευχαριστώ!
View on Google ↗Assumption of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church is a window into the deep and beautiful traditions of Eastern Orthodoxy. Whether you are Orthodox yourself or simply a visitor seeking beauty, peace, or historical insight, this place offers a great experience for anyone who walks through its doors. When you step in, your eyes are drawn upward to the soaring dome and intricate iconography—richly colored frescoes and gold-leafed icons that tell the story of the life of Christ, the Virgin Mary (Theotokos), and the saints of the Orthodox tradition. Visited during the Greek festival and truly enjoyed it!
View on Google ↗Assumption of the Greek Orthodox Church in Denver is an amazing experience all together. We went there on the weekend to attend the Greek festival. OMG we were pleasantly surprised by the grandeur and beauty of this edifice of Greek Orthodox Church. The big golden dome looks amazing, the murals inside the church were mind blowing. I would highly recommend this place. Accessibility or parking should not be a problem
View on Google ↗Such a beautiful cathedral has a story inside the Holy Gold Dome. You must visit there to experience God presence. However there’s no accessible Divine Liturgy and Orthodox 101 for Deaf. I just emailed Fr but no response more than one week. I guess maybe it’s closed doors for Deaf community seek for true salvation. Hope this comment can improve the accessibility for future. ☦️🙏
