Creator Camp

This camp really delivered! My kid was very proud of his projects and it was out of his comfort zone for sure. He was excited and it was very cool for him to get the chance to be so creative.

I wish I could rate this camp higher as it sounded intriguing. But I watched the videos my son created and maybe edited? yesterday and can't say I'm impressed. He's 7 so I didn't have high expecations. But it's not clear what the assignment was, what they learned, or what the videos were about. He's only in the frame part of the time and while he appears to have been working with another child or two, there are multiple other people walking through the videos including counselors with bored looking expressions. I think the biggest thing he enjoyed was learning how to play Minecraft on the iPad.

My daughter attended four different Creator Camps this summer, and she absolutely loved every one of them! The team was incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and did an amazing job teaching skills she can continue using long after camp ended. I was so impressed when I watched the videos she created. They were far beyond what I expected and really showcased everything she learned. A special thank you to Ms. Mars, who was absolutely wonderful and made the experience even more enjoyable. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and will definitely be back next year!
