Planned activities cancelled due to too many kids in the camp. We paid for kids to go to Splash Golden but then cancelled due to too many kids at the camp.

View on Google ↗We just finished up our 2nd summer at Champ Camp and absolutely love it! The staff is kind, skilled, and creative. I love that while the kids are outside most of the day there is always time inside especially when the temperatures are high. My son loved being able to make tie dyes, learn simple science experiments, and meeting new friends. We are excited to go back next summer as well!
View on Google ↗My kids have done a number of camps in the area, and this was their least favorite, hands-down. Absolutely not worth the money. The field trips were fairly standard (Pirates Cove & Four Mile Historic Park). I personally did not get a good vibe from the counselors - they did not acknowledge when we arrived, greet the kids etc. My kids also told me the counselors intentionally made a mess and made the kids pick it up, because they (the counselors) have to clean up their messes every day (the kids). It was also the hottest week of the summer, and they still had the kids do activities outside. I would not recommend this camp and do not plan to return. (Also, I was not going to post a review, but I got about 20 email asking for feedback, so here it is.)
