Realized that my coverage was canceled when I made an appointment and saw that it was “inactive”. Never received notice, checked my online account and the only documentation was my approval letter from 3 months prior that ensured coverage for 12 months. And bc I know the feedback is going to be “just call us”, I’ve been trying. Well over an hour on the phone waiting while the robot keeps ensuring me that my wait time is “approximately two minutes”. Now it is saying “less than one hour and 30 minutes” while I’ve already wasted over an hour. I guess moral of the story is keep checking coverage and have a fully charged phone before you call

I had a great experience with Jasmine on the Colorado Medicaid team. She and the rest of the team are working within a federal program that requires them to follow strict rules to make sure they have all the information they need to help get people health coverage. Medicaid isn't perfect and it can be frustrating, but it's what we have until Congress can get its act together and make health care universal - like Medicare for all. That's not the Medicaid team's fault, and I hope folks will remember that.

If there was a "0" I'd select a zero. Horrible communication. Bounced around from one phone number to the other. No one with any idea on how to resolve a super simple problem. Government (esp. CO!) at its best... Still in limbo at resolution.
