Over the past year, I've had very few problems with this Medicaid office. The few times I've needed to call, the staff has been helpful, answered my questions, and made sure everything was taken care of. I've noticed that some employees may initially sound like they're expecting a difficult call, but I've found that when I treat them with kindness and respect, they're always courteous and willing to help. In fact, I called today, was on hold for less than two minutes, and got all the information I needed to pass along to my doctor. My health has been stressful enough this past year, so I truly appreciate how they've made the process a little easier instead of adding to the stress. Their help has meant a lot, and I'm grateful for the positive experiences I've had with this office.

I had a great experience with Jasmine on the Colorado Medicaid team. She and the rest of the team are working within a federal program that requires them to follow strict rules to make sure they have all the information they need to help get people health coverage. Medicaid isn't perfect and it can be frustrating, but it's what we have until Congress can get its act together and make health care universal - like Medicare for all. That's not the Medicaid team's fault, and I hope folks will remember that.

If there was a "0" I'd select a zero. Horrible communication. Bounced around from one phone number to the other. No one with any idea on how to resolve a super simple problem. Government (esp. CO!) at its best... Still in limbo at resolution.

Nothing but getting screwed around and playing games here.. Had a motorcycle accident on May 2nd. Took till to the 10th of May to get paperwork finished..took till the middle of May to get my first check... Got told every kind of lie imaginable..

Health First Colorado canceled my coverage and sent me a letter about the cancelation one month AFTER open enrollment ends for other health insurance companies. I now have to wait from February to November to get the health insurance that I need. I am beyond livid and am truly at a loss for words by how inconsiderate this company is. I now won't be covered by health insurance until January 1st, when a new insurance plan kicks in after waiting until November to enroll!
