The City of Aurora Parks, Recreation & Open Space Department runs youth recreation programs and summer camps (including its Kidz Camp), with divisions for recreation, forestry, golf and open space. Its mission is to encourage active lifestyles and create healthy environments for people, nature and community.
Full-day weekly themed camp at Meadowood and Moorhead rec centers (7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.); themes rotate by week, such as Denver Zoo, Ninja Nation, and the Children's Museum.
