This church is at a beautiful location and seemed kind of organized. The pastor is a woman, and there wasn’t much preaching, mostly just reading traditional scriptures, hymns etc. The people were nice, mostly elders. What really bummed me out was a very major event had happened in the country that week. The pastor asked everyone what they needed prayers for, then told us to bow our heads and pray in silence. After that, she prayed out loud for Gaza, Palestine, South Africa, and Everhart school shooting. She failed as a pastor when she didn’t say a word of kindness for Charlie Kirk’s death at all. Charlie Kirk’s brutal execution was all over the news, and people across the country have been mourning. Yet this church and its pastor failed to acknowledge it.. no prayer of sympathy for people affected by this major event. Dude was executed infront of the entire world. A brother in Christ was executed. I don’t care what your political beliefs are or if you disagreed with him, basic human decency as a church means showing compassion. Instead, this felt like a “feel good” church that’s blinded by HATE. Honestly, it came across more like a cult than a church.

It is not easy to run a great church community but this church is seriously top-notch, especially when it comes to their kids' programs. They've got something for every age group, and it's not just fun but also really engaging & soul nourishing for the kids. The pastors, Rev. Anne Cubbage and Rev. Lynn Hurst, are truly incredible. They're super dedicated and you can tell they really care about everyone in the congregation. The whole staff is amazing too. Everyone feels included and appreciated here.

Wonderful community, the people here are SO KIND, they will walk right up and introduce themselves, and welcome you. Members will actively participate in getting to know you, I have found life long friendships at this church. Their pastor is brilliant, I often feel like God is speaking directly to me through her, and it is very comforting. She is attentive, caring, and considerate. Their music program is impressive, they have interns from local colleges, a well stocked choir, and even a children’s choir starting with kindergartners! They run all types of community programs here, from toddler music to baby boomer get togethers. I am a parent with young children and I am so relieved that there are many others my age, and kids attending. The older adults are so happy to have them around, they compliment them and laugh at their antics during fellowship after service, or at events, when we have a snack, drink coffee or tea and talk, they provide water or lemonade also. They are truly considerate of everyone youngest to oldest. My older child loves going to Sunday school and making crafts. The nursery is large and well stocked with toys of all kinds, books, and videos, plus a beautiful colorful mural on the wall. If you’re on the market for a home church, you should definitely come by and check out BCC. I can almost guarantee you won’t be disappointed. I hope to see you soon.

I love this church! Its dynamic and active with local organizations that help others in our community. The pastor is so caring and vibrant. The sermons are Bible-based with a healthy dose of application to our lives today. I also really love the music program. This church lives the statement, no matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here. I am so fortunate I found this church family.
