Boulder Book Store on Pearl Street is one of those places that just feels like Boulder. 📚🤍 It’s right in the heart of Pearl Street, so it’s super walkable and such an easy stop while you’re already downtown shopping, grabbing coffee, or wandering around. Boulder Book Store I love how much there is to explore inside. It’s way bigger than it looks, with three floors, around 20,000 square feet, and more than 100,000 titles! It’s the kind of bookstore where you can go in planning to browse for 10 minutes and somehow still be wandering around an hour later. 😂 Fun fact: Boulder Book Store has been around since 1973, making it a longtime part of the Pearl Street community. They’re also known for supporting local authors and host tons of author events and other community gatherings throughout the year. I especially love that it still has that cozy, independent bookstore feeling despite being so large. There are books everywhere, so many different sections to explore, and it just feels like a place for people who genuinely love books. Such a Boulder classic and absolutely worth walking into if you’re exploring Pearl Street. Support your local bookstores!! 📖✨

I had an amazing experience at Boulder Book Store on Pearl Street! This place is an absolute gem for book lovers. I was in town for a conference and decided to check out Boulder Bookstore since it was in walking distance of my hotel. The store is beautiful! A wide variety of titles both new and used. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. My favorite part was the Ballroom which is a beautiful, light filled room full of so many books. I'm so glad I visited. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

While strolling along Pearl Street, I stopped into this bookstore and was immediately impressed. It was beautifully organized and captured everything a great independent bookstore should be—warm, inviting, and full of character. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and there were thousands of books to browse across a wide variety of genres. If you enjoy reading, this is definitely a must-visit while you're in the area.
