My daughter has been part of Boulder Ballet School since she was 4 years old, and it is such an important part of her life. Over the years, she’s had several different teachers, and they’ve all been wonderful — giving strong instruction while also really caring about the students. Another thing I really appreciate about BBS is their focus on the whole dancer. In addition to solid training, they talk about wellness — things like nutrition, injury prevention, having a positive mindset, and building a strong work ethic. Lessons that carry over into everyday life. The community here is also very special. The mentorship program and the way the dancers encourage one another create such a supportive environment. My daughter has made some of her very best friends here! The final highlight is The Nutcracker and getting to perform alongside the Company Dancers in a professional performance each year! I truly can’t recommend a better place to develop both dance skills and life skills.

Boulder Ballet is truly a gem. The performances are consistently beautiful, inspiring, and professionally executed. Every production reflects extraordinary talent, passion, and artistry. What stands out even more is the incredible sense of community both on and off the stage. The dancers, staff, and broader organization create an environment that feels welcoming, supportive, and deeply committed to the arts.

I have a special love for this ballet school, and its professional company. My daughter has been dancing at Boulder Ballet for over a decade and I am happy with her ballet education. Progression through the program is individualized for each dancer and there is a focus on injury prevention and strength, particularly in preparation for going on pointe. The community is wonderful, with hard working dancers and supportive parents. Cannot recommend Boulder Ballet enough!

Boulder is so lucky to have an arts organization of the caliber of the Boulder Ballet. Their breadth, depth, and quality exceed artistry that I've seen in Pittsburgh, San Francisco, and New York. Their expression and poise have me on the edge of my seat every performance. I've rarely missed a show in almost 9 years and wholeheartedly recommend you see them with their current lineup.

Boulder Ballet is so much more than just a dance studio. When we first brought our daughter here when she was three years old, she was a quiet, scared but very enthusiastic little dancer. From the moment we walked in, the staff and instructors embraced her with open arms. The transformation we’ve seen over the years has been incredible! Boulder Ballet didn't just teach her the basics of dance, they provided her with: • Self-Confidence: She has found her voice and isn't afraid to perform. • Coordination: Her physical growth and grace have improved immensely thanks to their thoughtful instruction. • A Sense of Place: She truly feels like she belongs here. • Community: We have all found a welcoming, supportive "dance family" that feels like home. If you are looking for a place that nurtures both the artist and the individual, look no further. We are so grateful to be part of this community!
