Was under construction but a super neat little place. Lots of posted information, colorful and educational, and sensory detailed experiances, cool walking trail. dog friendly. We just stopped for a nice place to eat our lunches and stretch our legs, but if we were local, I'd take my kids here often I think.

Had a short amount of time before a flight and used this as an escape. What a beautiful place! We sat and listened to the birds sing, watched the water fowl swim and saw a butterfly. Away from the traffic, Barr Lake area was peaceful and beautifully well kept and thought out. Very clean restrooms and I personally adored the Cottonwood Picnic area.

Came here for a program my sons are in. Despite being near a highway, this place is nice, calm & has a nice variety of wildlife. We were fortunate enough to see hawks, eagles, a few deer & a good size coyote among other wildlife in the area. This is definitely a place we'll be back to in the near future. Also the staff was very friendly & informative. Thank you for the tour Miss Lark! ✌️
