My sister and I recently volunteered in the kitchen while my niece and nephew attended camp, and it was truly an incredible experience from start to finish. Max, the director, pays attention to every detail, and every volunteer we met put so much care, passion, and heart into making the camp a special place. You can tell how much everyone genuinely cares about creating a fun, safe, and welcoming environment. The kids looked happy and engaged the entire time, with so many amazing activities like arts and crafts, rope climbing, rafting, and more. It was wonderful to see them having so much fun while also learning and practicing sign language throughout the week. One thing that really stood out was that there is always an interpreter on site, ensuring clear communication for everyone and helping create an environment where all campers, families, volunteers, and staff feel included and connected. Whether you’re hearing, hard of hearing, or deaf, you’ll feel welcomed, supported, and included here. The beautiful natural setting, peaceful creek, and incredible community make this a truly special place. We left with full hearts and can’t recommend this camp enough!
View on Google ↗Great camp ran by very nice people in a beautiful area. It’s really hard meeting other Deaf families in the community that can communicate with my daughter. This was the highlight of my daughter’s summer- she made friends here that will hopefully be lifelong.
View on Google ↗I didn't go but my daughter went to school in New Mexico for the deaf summer camp she had fun and wish have more day there again ❤️
