Academy of Life and Leadership Taekwondo

A blessing during my last deployment to Afghanistan. My family had a consistent reliable support group while I was away in multiple, different combat zones. Grand Master Kunkel even set up a way so I could remote in and take classes with my kids and spouse. Excellent programs for all ages. Parents are encouraged to learn with their kids. Engaging instructors in a family-centric environment. Would highly recommend if you want to find a great activity to share with the whole family.

A.L.L. Taekwondo has been such a blessing in my life. It shaped me into being the man I am today by giving me the skills I needed to become successful. It taught me valuable life skills at an early age, reinforcing the teachings and attitudes conducive to a respectful and productive childhood, like knowing how to get adult’s attention, how to respect others, and how to defend myself in a practical and efficient manner. As an adult, it has given me the time and space to focus and better myself. It pushes me to be a better teacher, better student, better partner, and better leader. And none of this would be possible without my master, mentor, and role model, Master Kunkel. She has shown me time and again how to persevere through anything, even the worst of times. She pushes me to be the best I can. She has always been more than just a mentor, but a true and genuine friend. She cares so deeply about everyone around, and I could not imagine a better person to learn from, especially while I was so young. She truly is one of the most amazing role models anyone could ask for, both for themselves and for their children. I cannot recommend this place enough to EVERYONE, no matter the age group.

We’ve been training here as a family for a little over 3.5 years. Master Kunkel is a wonderful instructor. She is demanding when it comes to effort, but only because she really cares: about taekwondo and about personal development. She really believes people are capable of much more than they think. And she gives the mental and physical training to do it. We’ve definitely grown as a family and as individuals. We are proud to soon be graduating with our black belts. And we love the community the school has plugged us into.

ALL taekwondo is the place to be. I truly feel like a part of a community, family, and team being here. Everyone is encouraging, critically thinking, driven, and kind. The feedback I get improves my day to day life outside the studio too. I cannot recommend grand master Kunkel and her team enough! Incredible people truly!

I am currently an orange belt at Academy of Life and Leadership. I decided to join ALLTKD because I was so impressed with how both of my boys were challenged and lovingly guided in their own taekwondo journey as they are currently about to receive their second degree black belts. ALLTKD is a wonderful martial arts school that offers a warm family environment with high martial arts standards and guidance. I am excited to keep progressing in my own taekwondo journey!
